Samir Sutar working at C L Gupta Eye Institute as HOD- Optometry education and services. Earlier he was there at LVPEI- MTC campus for 9 years. He joined C L Gupta Eye Institute in the year of 2018 December. His core area of research is Community eye health and Amblyopia. He has been actively involved in Optometry education and systems to deliver eye care by Clinical and non- clinical staff through innovation. He has several publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
Rajkumar Singh

Rajkumar Singh has completed his master's in optometry from 2016-2018 from Himalayan University, Arunachal Pradesh. He has done his bachelor's in optometry from 2009-2012 from Vinayaka Mission university, Tamil Nadu. He has completed his fellowship in 2010 ophthalmic diagnostics from LVPEI, Hyderabad. He has done his diploma in optometry from Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, Institute of ophthalmology, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad (1993-1995). He has completed his diploma in eye banking technician in 2001 from Ramayamma International eye bank (EBAI), LVPEI, Hyderabad. His core area of specialization is Ophthalmic Diagnostics and Eye Banking.
Mahendra Singh

Mahendra Singh
completed his Diploma in Optometry from the UP State Medical Faculty, Lucknow.
He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in optometry from Chitkara
University, Chandigarh, Punjab. Additionally, he undertook a two-year long-term
fellowship in optometry at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, specializing in
low vision and rehabilitation management since 2015.
Mahendra Singh
joined CL Gupta Eye Institute, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, as an assistant
professor and consultant optometrist. He has more than 8 years of teaching,
research and clinical experience. In addition, he has publications in national
and international peer-reviewed journals and has participated in several
conferences. Simultaneously, he has also been actively involved in training and
research activities. He initiated training in low vision and rehabilitation at
CL Gupta Eye Institute, organizing several successful CMEs, workshops, and
webinars on LVA (low vision aid) and rehabilitation that attracted participants
from across the country.
As the head of
the Low Vision Aid (LVA) team, Mahendra Singh's mission is to address the
functional visual needs of the visually impaired and raise awareness among
healthcare professionals about the significance of low vision management. He is
an active member of the Optometry Council of India.
With a rich and
extensive background, Mahendra Singh has provided low vision services to more
than 4,000 patients across all age groups with various ophthalmic unavoidable
low vision conditions. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD from Teerthankar
Mahaveer University, Moradabad
Rohit Varshney

Rohit completed his Diploma in Optometry from C L Gupta School of Optometry, Moradabad (U.P) affiliated to UP state medical faculty. He also completed one-year Vision Technician course from L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. He joined CLGEI in 2011 as a Vision technician and now promoted as a consultant Optometrist.

strabismus from Arvind eye hospital Madurai, Tamilnadu and short term
fellowship on orthoptics and vision therapy from shroff's charity eye
hospital,New delhi and also completed one year vision technician course from
LVPEI, Hyderabad.

Tasleem Qamar has completed

Master's in social work in 2016-2018 from allahabad university. He has done his
Bachelor's in Optometry in 2013-2016 from NIMS university Jaipur. He has done
his diploma in optometry in 2011-2013 from UPSMF, Lucknow. He has completed his
one year vision technician course in 2011 from LVPEI, Hyderabad.
He has done Three month fellowship on Retcam imager at CLGEI, Moradabad. His
core area specialization in Retcam imager of Retinopathy of prematurity and
Posterior segment services.

pradesh, her area of clinical interest in glaucoma department and research, She

Suraj Chaurasiya

Mr.
Suraj Chaurasiya belongs to Birgunj, Nepal. He graduated in Optometry and
Vision Science from NSHM College of Management and Technology, Durgapur, WB,
India, and completed his 1-year clinical internship at C.L Gupta Eye Institute
in 2017. Then he went for higher education at LV Prasad Eye Institute,
Hyderabad, and completed his Post-graduation Diploma in Optometry and
Vision Science and specializing in Contact Lens and Anterior Segment. At
present, He is working as an Associate Optometrist and Head of the Contact Lens
Department at CL Gupta Eye Institute. His main areas of clinical interest
include Soft, RGP, and specialty contact lenses (like Rose K, Scleral, and
PROSE lenses) fitting and dispensing. He is also an Educator member of IACLE
(International Association of Contact lens Educators) and has multiple
publications in the national and international peer-reviewed journals. He
is also actively involved in academics, research, and training activities.

Additionally, he has worked as an Assistant Professor (Department of Optometry) at Maharishi Markandeswar (Deemed to be University), Ambala.
