Medical Visa:

The Indian Government has contantly promoting medical tourism in India. The medical visa is issued to patients who come to India for medical treatment. The visa validation is for a year or the period of treatment, whichever is less and it can be extended for another year. Up to two attendants who are blood relatives are allowed to accompany the applicant under separate medical attendant visas and their validity will be the same as of the applicant. The medical visa will be valid for a maximum of 3 entries during one year.

Eye surgeries normally takes lesser time as compared to other operations and 6 to 7 days for pre and post operative procedure care.
